Funding

Most of the research activities at Center for Magnetic Resonance are financed by external funders.

The largest current grant is the Center for hyperpolarization in Magnetic Resonance (HYPERMAG). It is funded by Danish National Research Foundation, which awards large and flexible grants to centers of excellence focused on curiousity-driven frontier research missions.

In addition to this, our researchers are engaged in a number of other publicly or privately funded research projects as either Principal Investigators or collaborators.

Current funders include:

  • Danish National Research Foundation
  • Independent Research Fund Denmark
  • Innovation Fund Denmark
  • Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions
  • Novo Nordisk Foundation
  • Lundbeck Foundation
  • Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research
  • Danish Cancer Society
  • H C Ørsted Foundation
  • European Research Council

In addition to the project funding mentioned above, we also rely on travel grants from generous funders enabling students and faculty to go to the important scientific conferences in our fields to share our own work and be inspired by the research of our peers.
