Development of Quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (qMRI) Methods for Radiotherapy Response Studies.

Center for Magnetic Resonance is offering a PhD scholarship in Development of Quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (qMRI) Methods for Radiotherapy Response Studies.

The PhD project is part of a collaboration aiming to improve radiotherapy of patients suffering from secondary tumours in the brain. The collaborative project is funded by Danish Cancer Society, with Assistant Professor Faisal Mahmood from Odense University Hospital as Principal Investigator.

Center for Magnetic Resonance

At CMR we conduct research and teaching within the fields of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy. Our activities encompass Hyperpolarized Metabolic MR, Neurophysics, High-field MRI, and MRI acquisition methodologies.

Right now, the CMR team consists of 28 people, 12 of which are PhD students and 5 Postdocs.  We are an international and multidisciplinary group including many different nationalities and backgrounds. We occupy a floor with labs and offices side-by-side. MR research and clinical scanners are available through collaborations with all Danish university hospitals.
