Malte Laustsen has joined Center for Magnetic Resonance on 1 August 2017 as a new PhD student.
In his PhD project, Prospective Motion Correction of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Malte will work with motion tracking and correction approaches for MRI, especially aimed at neuroimaging at ultra-high magnetic field.
Malte holds a MSc in neuroscience and neuroimaging from Sino Danish Center, and did his master thesis on Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Institute of Biophysics in Beijing.
Main Supervisor is Lars G. Hanson, with Assoc Prof Kristoffer Madsen from DTU Compute and Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance and Prof Rong Xue from Chinese Academy of Science, Institute of Biophysics, as co-Supervisors.
Malte's PhD project is funded by a grant from Sino-Danish Center and includes a nine-month external research stay at Chinese Academy of Science.
