On Monday 12 August 2019, PhD student Mürsel Karadas from Center for Magnetic Resonance succesfully defended his PhD thesis on Highly Sensitive Magnetic Sensing of Neural Activity.

Examiners at the defence were Associate Professor Rune W. Berg, University of Copenhagen, Assistant Professor Romana Schirhagl, University of Groningen, and Associate Professor Sadasivan Puthusserypada, DTU.

The defence ended with a unanimous recommendation from the examiners' committee that the PhD degree should be conferred on Mürsel Karadas.

Chairperson at the defence was Associate Professor Esben Thade Petersen, DTU.
