On Friday 4 October 2019, PhD student Cristina Pasquinelli from Center for Magnetic Resonance succesfully defended her PhD thesis on "Safety and dose estimation of transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation".

Examiners at the defence were Associate Professor Magnus Cinthio, Lund University, Senior Research Associate Lennart Verhagen, University of Oxford and Associate Professor Marie Sand Traberg, DTU.

The defence ended with a unanimous recommendation from the examiners' committee that the PhD degree should be conferred on Cristina Pasquinelli.

Chairperson at the defence was Associate Professor Pernille Rose Jensen, DTU.
