Computational tools to analyze structural magnetic resonance scans of the brain

Oula Puonti

Research focus
Oula Puonti's research deals with developing computational tools, building on Bayesian probabilistic modeling, to analyze structural magnetic resonance scans of the healthy and pathological brain. These tools can be used to study and diagnose different neuropathological diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, targeting radiotherapy treatment for tumors, or stimulation targeting in transcranial brain stimulation techniques.

The research is carried out from both DTU Health Technology and Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance at Copenhagen University Hospital Hvidovre.
